Sen. Dodd signed on to Senator Clinton's February 8, 2008 letter to President Bush. The letter encourages the President to increase the U.S. diplomatic effort on Darfur.
On June 22, 2007, Sen Dodd released a statement requesting that Majority Leader Harry Reid accelerate consideration of the Sudan Divestment Authorization Act by seeking unanimous consent to take up and pass the bill.
On April 30, 2007, Sen Dodd signed a letter to President Bush urging immediate action to end genocide in Darfur.
On April 25, 2006, Sen Dodd gave a statement about genocide in Darfur and urged the President to take action by supporting the International Criminal Court.
